GREEN EU – Building European Resilience to Climate Change Impacts

“Civic Climate Future”

On 4 March 2026, an event  “Civic Climate Future”was held in Sueca within the framework of the #GREENEU project, which concludes in April. During the meeting, the main results achieved by the project were presented and an awareness-raising session was carried out with the 39 participants, focusing on the importance of taking action against climate change.

The event opened with institutional remarks from the President of the Mancomunitat de la Ribera Baixa and the Mayor of Sueca, who highlighted the importance of cooperation between public administrations and citizens in order to move towards a more sustainable territory.

In addition, participatory working sessions were held with the aim of motivating climate action, creating a space for reflection and proposals to continue promoting measures to address climate change in our territory.

The Consorci de la Ribera participates in this project  co-funded by the EU within the programme CERV as a partner, contributing to the development of initiatives that promote sustainability and citizen engagement.
